How to Start a Guild in Wow

How to Create a Guild in World of Warcraft. World of Warcraft is a multiplayer .Well first things first. In order to be a successful guild leader you need a guild, and to start a guild you need to purchase a guild charter. The horde charter can be purchased in Orgrimmar by Urtun Clanbringer, by Grommash Hold in the Valley of Strength. While the Alliance charter can be purchased in Stormwind by Aldwin How to Start a Guild in Wow Laughlin in the Trade District. I’m not sure how much it costs to actually buy the charter, but it’s just pocket change, I’m pretty sure it’s under 1 gold. It’s been so long since I actually purchased my guilds charter, that I forgot so I apologize for not knowing the amount of gold needed to buy the charter, guild tabard, or all bank tabs.

When you buy your charter you’ll be asked what you want to name your guild. I advise everyone to think about this long and hard, because once you turn the charter in, you are stuck with the guild name you entered, and you’ll have to pay to change it later. After you are certain what you want to name your guild, make sure that you capitalize and spell everything properly.

Now that you’ve named your guild and bought the charter it’s time to get some signatures! You used to be required to get a total of 9 other signatures in order to make your guild, however, now you only need to find 4 other people to sign your charter. Hopefully, before you set out on your adventure to start your guild, you already had at least 1 or 2 friends that were willing to help you start the guild. However, if you don’t already have a few friends ready to sign your charter, you can still manage to get some signatures. Ask around to people you know, and see if they have any alts that would sign, or if they have friends. Your last option would be to ask in trade chat. Just be advised that if you have to resort to asking in trade for signatures, that you’ll probably have to bribe signers with either gold or something of equal value, be prepared for this when the time comes.

So, now that you have all of your signatures, it’s time to go back to the guy you bought it from, and turn it in. After you turn in your guild charter your guild will be created and the tag underneath your character’s name will be changed accordingly. Everyone that signed your charter is now automatically a part of your guild.

To create a Tabard, you will need to go back to the same guy that you purchased the guild charter from, and select the option “I want to create a guild crest”. You will be presented with an interface that previews your character, along with options to change the Icon, How to Start a Guild in Wow Icon color, border, and background. After you decide how you want your logo to look, you just hit accept and it’s created, and your guild gets a nice little achievement along with it. You can purchase guild tabards at the tabard vendor which, at least for the Horde, is just a few steps away from the guy you just made the log with.
