If you want to play the beta of Diablo 3, I recommend following these steps as found below:

 Log into your Blizzard Entertainment account.
Go to your account settings
Go to beta settings
Make sure that you have Diablo ticked off so that you can receive invites for beta testing
Log out when finished
There’s no trick to it guys
I’m sorry, but obviously everyone isn’t going to be picked to beta test Diablo 3. It’s a fact or life, if not nature in itself. Make sure your system specs are up to date and have the box ticked. That’s all I can tell you guys.

Good luck and congratulations if you get picked. From what I hear, open beta is close. Apparently it is in the ‘Friends and Family’ testing right now. Lucky folks if you ask me. Must be nice to have a parent or sibling that works for Blizzard eh?
